Enterprise Data Safe Limited was founded after the success of the Argosy TelCrest Enterprise Password Safe showed there was a clear need in the market for affordable secure data storage software for enterprises of all sizes.

Prior to the creation of Enterprise Data Safe Limited the Enterprise Password Safe was developed and distributed by Argosy TelCrest for over three years as part of their range of services products. In late 2006 the decision was made to allow the Enterprise Password Safe to grow outside of Argosy TelCrest, and thus Enterprise Data Safe Limited was formed.

Enterprise Data Safe Limited has been given all of the intellectual property rights for the Enterprise Password Safe and has retained all of the people from Argosy TelCrest who were involved in the design, development, sales, and support of the product. The growth of Enterprise Data Safe Limited will draw upon the expertise of Argosy TelCrest which has been cash flow positive since it's incorporation.
